Today let us celebrate but be mindful of the mask of sin that we wear and in that mindfullness prepare ourselves through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving for Good Friday and the Resurrection of Jesus the Christ at Easter. Today we feast and celebrate in thanksgiving to the Father for the bounty that He gives us.
I invite all of you who read this blog to celebrate today and consider entering into the spirit of the Lenten season which begins tomorrow with Ash Wednesday. Remember to pray, fast, and give alms. Walk with Jesus in the desert and contemplate what he may have been thinking and feeling during his retreat.
